Asahi Refining Releases Third Edition of Sustainability Report, Highlighting Advances in Sustainable Practices and Leadership in Responsible Sourcing

Asahi Refining North America, a leading global refiner of precious metals, is proud to announce the release of its third edition of its annual sustainability report. This year’s report showcases the company’s ongoing commitment to embedding sustainable practices across all sectors of its growing business.

On July 1 last year, Asahi Refining’s parent company, Asahi Holdings, Inc., rebranded as ARE Holdings, Inc., reaffirming its focus on sustainability. The acronym ARE—A for Asahi, R for Resources, and E for Environment—encapsulates the company’s dedication to protecting natural resources and the environment. This shift will be reflected by Asahi Refining North America. The company is dedicated to working with firms to increase transparency in supply chains, helping to identify further opportunities for reducing the company’s carbon footprint, while aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Mr. Houghton-Dodd continued, “This is the third annual report we have published, and we are committed to continuing to report our progress as we work towards achieving ARE Holding’s Corporate Goals, which are detailed in the appendix.”
